HARRY
POTTER
THE FACTS – THE TRUTH If you have a young child, grandchild or a friend that has a child, this could possibly be one of the most important subjects you need to understand. Our children today are under attack in devious and satanic ways that can manifest controls that could be life-lasting if we don’t understand these attacks and the effect they are having on our children. The "innocent little" Harry Potter series of books is one of these satanic attacks. The Harry Potter books is a series of fantasy novel books written by J. K. Rowling. Currently, there are four books in the series with another three yet to be published. The books detail Harry’s mystical adventures as a wizard in training at Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. As of this writing, the craze over Harry Potter has put 90 million books in print in over 43 languages in 200 countries. As you will understand after you read these facts, it is a true satanic attack on the children of the world. There have been many books written for children that taught occult practices, but none appear to be as ingeniously and subtly packaged to attract children like the Harry Potter series. This series desensitizes both children and adults to the forbidden and dangerous world of pagan occult magic that is spoken of in The Bible. How true it is when we are reminded in God’s Word that we are in spiritual warfare, and for Christians Harry Potter is not acceptable in the eyes of God. In the following paragraphs I am going to present some startling facts about Harry Potter that every Christian should know. Is it possible that the real Harry Potter is an evil spirit? Reflect on this fact. The author, J.K. Rowling stated that in 1990, while traveling on a train, she suddenly saw Harry "very, very clearly" in her mind. "He just came to my thoughts out of nowhere as a fully formed individual….Harry just strolled into my head….I really did feel he was someone who walked up and introduced himself in my mind’s eye. I have no idea why he chose to come to me."1 Many who try to justify their children reading these books say that it is just fantasy and there is no real occultism to the books, or they are totally ignorant as to what makes up and controls the occult. There is no ignorance to Ms. Row ling’s understanding of the occult, she blatantly admits that approximately one-third of what she has written in based on actual occultism. Some scenes are not only based on reality, but often are also described using details taken word for word from sorcery and witchcraft.2 Nearly every area of occultism is disguised in Harry Potter, including astrology, spells, medium ship and many others. In these books, the years of training that Harry received at Hogwart’s School parallels the magical training in real life witchcraft that has to do with serpent veneration. In witchcraft, ancient Runes are studied. In the book Prisoner of Azkaban, page 57, we read: "Those are my books….divination, the study of ancient Runes"3 in real life. Those who are involved in witchcraft are into the satanic ritual of divination as we see in Prisoner of Azkaban, page 103, which reads, "We will be covering the basic methods of divination this year." Witchcraft teaches spell casting. In Sorcerer’s Stone, Ms. Rowling has made her view very clear as she wrote: "All students shall have a copy of each of the following: The Standard Book of Spells… To take it to the next level, which most Christians don’t understand or believe, Ms. Rowling introduces your children to werewolf and animal transformation. In the Sorcerer’s Stone, page 134 she teaches, "transformation is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will ever learn at Hogwart’s School." And in Prisoner of Azkaban, page 353, it states: "It is very painful to turn into a werewolf….(my friends) could each turn into a different animal." Another evil practice we are seeing in our schools today is the ancient practice of casting evil spells. In Harry Potter book 1, page 66, and book 3, page 43, there is reference to The Standard Book of Spells... In real occultism there is a Book of Spells, written in 1997 by Arthur Edward Waite. In Harry Potter book I, page 66, and book III, page 5, there is reference to A History Book of Magic. In real occultism, Eliphas Levi wrote The History of Magic in 1997. In Harry Potter book I, page 66, there is reference to "One Thousand Magical Herbs." In real occultism, Scott Cunningham wrote the Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs in 1985. We can go on and on, but you get the plan Ms. Rowling has for your child. To further prove the intent of this series, if you are not already convinced, you must realize that Ms. Rowlings "fictional" characters are straight from the occult. Just to look at a few:
ADALBERT- He was really a French mystic who claimed he could foretell
The most subtle desensitizing Ms. Rowling has done so far is the introduction of "muggles." In the Sorcerer’s Stone, page 55 we read that muggles are humans with no magical abilities whatsoever, totally "non-magic" folk." Ms. Rowling consistently portrays muggles as a narrow-minded callous group of people unable to grasp the glory of magic (Sorcerer’s Stone – pages 2,3,4,22). They are incredibly slow when it comes to perceiving truth, although as one witch put it in Sorcerer’s Stone, page 10, "They’re not completely stupid." Muggles are nothing more than an embarrassment to witches and wizards and children reading the series soon conclude parents and grandparents are muggles. To further examine the Harry Potter series, we must understand the magnitude of the teaching of condoning violence. In book IV, there is an increase in murder and torture. Muggle killings are done for fun by Vordemort’s followers (page 143). There is a killing of two wizards (page 531), the killing of another good wizard and his witch wife after being tortured to the point of insanity (pages 595, 603); Cedric’s murder in front of Harry (page 638); Pettigrew severing off his own hand and putting in boiling cauldron (pages 641-642); Harry having blood drained into a vial after being slashed in the arm by Pettigrew (page 642); Voldermort’s statement that his survival depends on drinking a mixture of snake venom and unicorn blood (page 656); and a child killing his father and turning the body into a bone and burying it (page 690). Now that hundreds of thousands of children are hanging on excitement for the next three books, Ms. Rowling has given us a peak of what is to come. In book IV, we see on pages 252-253 that Harry has intensely erotic movement causing him to go wild, with half-formed thoughts razing through his mind. Ron meets a half-Veelas and instantly falls into puppy-lust. Ms. Rowling has given hints that her young characters will be "discovering their hormones" as they grow up in the next three books. What does God say about this deception? Deuteronomy 18:10-12 God instructs us to let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or woo consults with the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord . I think God has made it abundantly clear that He is not going to put up with Harry Potter, and that we will have to answer to Him if we allow our loved ones to get caught in this trap. In Matthew 18:5,6 God speaks to
this sin with no exception: Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name
welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of
these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a
large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
